A big part of the annual Byron Bay Writers Festival is the selection of free and individually ticketed off-site literary events. These take place at a number of venues across the Byron region, including the Byron Theatre, Lone Goat Gallery, The Byron Bay Library, and more.

Best of Insiders
ABC TV’s Sunday morning discussion program, Insiders, is coming to Byron Bay. Host Barrie Cassidy will guide the panel through all the big 2017 political developments so far, and screen the most entertaining videos of the political year.

Australian Poetry Slam – Byron Heat

Writers at the Rails
Featuring David Hallett and Arielle Cottingham. For 25 years ‘Writers at the Rails’ has provided a stage to feature poets, book launches and poetry slams, while fostering a platform for local and visiting poets to perform new works.
