SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS LITTLE SPLENDOUR

Sometimes they just wont sit down and be HUMBLE. You need to let them run a little wild. Little Splendour is back for all your rug rat rapper needs in 2018. Think less DAMNs and more jams thanks to Little Splendour!

We’ll never be royals, but the Queen of children’s entertainment, Justine Clarke, sure damn is! One of the most recognised and trusted faces in the Australian children’s landscape, Little Splendour is thrilled to have this Play School mainstay and platinum-selling musician performing live at North Byron Parklands for the first time ever this July! Catch her from 3:30pm Saturday.

Plus there are loads more happening all day long to keep the ankle biters busy. For the littlies, surprise visits from their favourite pirates and princesses are followed by dress ups in the tipi and a frolic in the giant sandpit! If that hasn’t tired them out, they can get their craft on or do some interpretive dance. Too legit to sandpit? The Big Kids Zone has the rest of the pack sorted, with everything from sports, face painting, henna tattoos and board games. To top it all off, there’s a whole host of arts, craft, music, dance and active workshops for the whole clan to enjoy each day. Plus we have some extra special activities in store for budding DJs and tiny dancers…

Did you hear that? No? That’s because it’s Little Splendour’s new Silent Disco! Presented by Playground Sounds, young dudes and divas can groove out under disco balls and laser beams, equipped with their own wireless headphones. Hands in the air for quiet clubbing!

The party doesn’t stop there. Rising superstar Sol is back to hit the decks at Splendour! Formerly known as DJ Sol, the (almost) 15-year-old beat-dropper and producer from Sydney will be spinning tunes at his third Splendour this July. Known for mashing up classic house grinds and pumping EDM tracks, Sol is set to bring the untz untz to Little Splendour!

Got a pint-sized Peking Duk or young Daft Punk on your hands? Take their bangers from bedroom to big time at DJ Skool presented by DJ Cory Fletcher! From basic operations through to more complex routines, Cory will put kids through their paces by teaching DJ skills that will set them up to take on the Chemical Brothers!

When those tiny legs are getting tired, Henry Rollin’s your way from the Forum to the Mix Up tent and everywhere in between with ease thanks to Rock & Roller Wagons! Daytime cruising, night-time snoozing. Parental heaven. Book yours here.

Don’t fancy looking and feeling like a zombie all weekend? KidzKlub babysitting is here to give you that all important ‘me’ time. A fully secured area with trained teachers and childcare professionals, parents can drop the littlies off between 12pm to 12am FridaySaturday and Sunday and we’ll keep them occupied for two hours at a time with art, craft, movies, games and books. Bookings are required for children under 4, visit kidzklub.com.au to secure a spot.

DON’T FORGET TO REGISTER YOUR TRIBE
This year we have set up an online register for all children aged 12 and under so we know exactly how many little people are on site during the festival. All accompanying adult guardians will need to register their young punk’s details along with their own name and mobile contact details. In exchange you’ll be sent a PDF to print and pop into your little one’s pocket for the duration of the festival. Head here to register your details and you’ll also receive a special 2018 edition Little Splendour participation certificate for their bedroom wonder wall. Cool!
