Rock Me Baby Film Festival March 25

Join the Rock Me Baby Film Festival at the Palace Cinema from March 25 for the screening of four fascinating films across four days: the extraordinary visual effects and animations of Pink Floyd The Wall, with a young Bob Geldof haunting as burnt out rock musician Pink; filmmaker Jonathan Demme accompanying singer, songwriter and activist Neil Young on a road trip reminiscing about his life and times, interspersed with concert footage of Young singing the songs that have made him a cherished figure in the world of rock music; the legend that is Bob Marley captured by director Kevin MacDonald (Last King of Scotland) in a film that not only showcases Marley’s iconic music but also reveals the man behind the songs; and finally enigmatic artist and performer Rodriguez in Searching for Sugar Man, winner of Best Documentary Oscar in this year’s Academy Awards.
