Our beloved, award-winning Old & Gold Festival is just around the corner on SATURDAY 10 JUNE (JUNE LONG WEEKEND) in Brunswick Heads.
There are four large Fairs to browse, horse and carriage rides, music, environmental demonstrations, amazing food, fundraising BBQs, stalls of all shapes and sizes, a new barn dance and kids show (at the Brunswick Picture House), the Lucky Penny prize wheel at the Memorial Hall entry, Devonshire teas at the CWA, plus some awesome raffles (win a retro bike from Brunswick Heads Bikes) at the Indoor Collectables Fair (Memorial Hall). ALL TOWN GARAGE SALE – REGISTER NOW!
We’re expecting more than 100 registered garage sales in the popular All Town Garage Sale again so there’s treasure hunting aplenty to be had! Want to hold a garage sale at your place? Simply pop into Byron Shire Real Estate Cnr Tweed and Fawcett Sts to register your sale for a small $10 fee (cut off date for garage sale registrations is Sat 28 May, so get in quick).

Don’t miss secondhand goods for sale at our 4 BIG FAIRS around town. The Catholic Church hosts Ye Olde Church Fair (cnr Tweed & Mullumbimbi Sts), Brunswick Heads Public School puts on it’s Treasure Trove on the school grounds (cnr Fingal and Park Sts), head to the Memorial Hall (Fingal St) for the ever-popular Indoor Collectables Fair or head to the CWA Secondhand Fair (behind the school, on Park St).
Come along for some super fun, non-competitive games of marbles at Ye Olde Church Fair on Saturday 10 June, from 10am until 11.30am. To compete in the Australian Marbles Championships, please join us on Sunday 12 June (also on the Church grounds, cnr Tweed and Mullumbimbi Sts), starting at 9.30am for primary aged children. Open events will start at 12.30am. You can even try out for the National Team while you’re there! Get behind this unique Brunswick Heads experience and have a go.
