It’s almost time to gather the people from far and wide, for the Day of the Dead shall arrive soon, and we must prepare the space with all things rich in symbolism, we must build a bridge between the past and present, the living and the dead, so they can arrive.
This November 1st, we welcome you to the land of your ancestors.Let this evening uncover secrets from your family bloodline, introduce you to the origins of your roots, and unveil the paradoxes that stand between you and your personal legacy as we turn mourning into a celebration of life, blending the dead and alive.
This tradition is themed, we must attract the ancestors through vibrance and patterns, so put on your best Day of the Dead attire and disguise yourselves as one.
Day of the Dead is a collaboration between North Byron Hotel & Bare Foot Beat, and invites you to arrive early as our first 50 guests will receive a free offering from the bar on arrival. Food will be served in the open skies garden BBQ and a selection of delicious Mexican inspired cocktails will be poured at the bar, along with your standard favourites. Performances designed for this night only, and face painting stations can be spotted throughout the evening, so if you forget your face, we’ve got you.
