Lone Goat Gallery presents a solo exhibition by local artist Ellen Ferrier

Join the Lone Goat Gallery for the opening of our new exhibition:
5:30 – 7:30PM FRIDAY 28 MARCH

A tapestry of blood and bone, by local artist Ellen Ferrier, presents an immersive experience of works co-created with natural materials from the more-than-human world.

Awake, alive, aware, the materials in these works are not static but ever-evolving and inextricably entangled in our human bodies and psyches. They are the marrow in our bones and the life-giving nutrients in our blood. They are ancestors and kin. Wisdom keepers and future dreamers. They are here, dancing with us, proffering our place amongst the wild and wondrous tapestry of things.

Ellen Ferrier is a multidisciplinary installation artist based in the Byron Bay hinterlands of Northern NSW. Her practice is focused on the exploration and creation of regenerative materials, drawing on a diverse range of processes from pre-industrial to bio-technological.
