Here’s an open invitation to get down and get groovy in air-conditioned comfort this Saturday at the Wild Honey Community Day. On offer is an enticing buffet of ‘taster’ workshops for kids and adults, beginners and experienced dancers alike. There’s a fantastic array of classes to choose from including sacred Indian temple dance, Turkish Rom (Gypsy), trance and breath work, Tigress yoga, Hawaiian Hula, and an 80’s music inspired class that features a ‘dance battle’. One of the highlights of the day will be international tribal fusion belly dance teacher and fitness guru, Ashley Lopez (USA), who is also a trained opera singer, kick boxer and yoga teacher. And, if you’re feeling inspired afterwards, you can continue learning over the weekend with a series of tribal fusion workshops with Lopez on Sunday and Monday.
