TOKYO DOLL – Japanese fusion food & drinks

With its epic Japanese fusion food & drinks, and super fun buzzy vibe, @tokyodollbyronbay is one of Byron Bay’s hottest spots for dinner and cocktails 🍣🍸

Happy hour is 4pm-6pm daily with $15 cocktails and half price oysters 🦪🍹

High quality pacific oysters from Coffin Bay are freshly shucked to order and served natural or with the incredible Tokyo Style house dressing with passionfruit, mandarin & jalapeño – I highly recommend you try this, it is so delicious! 🦪🍊

Cocktails pay homage to traditional Japanese flavors – try the Tokyo Martini with local @brookiesgin gin & sake or the Yuzurita, a spicy margarita with a citrusy Japanese twist 🍸🍊 The Asian-fusion menu has authentic Japanese dishes like sashimi, nigiri & maki rolls as well as modern fusion dishes like sushi tacos with a nori wrapper, and beef short rib with a soy-sake glaze 🍣🌮 Mixed chefs selection nigiri is super fresh and tasty 🍣✨

New to the menu is the salmon sashimi with mango, mandarin, white soy & jalapeño…perfect mouthfuls of fresh salmon with citrus & spice 🥭🌶️ Seared salmon rolls with raw & seared salmon, avocado, teriyaki & scallions are epic 🐟🥑 Don’t miss the Tokyo Doll fried chicken – karaage chicken with an incredible Korean glaze served with Japanese mayo…it is so delicious, some of the best karaage I’ve eaten, a must try dish! 🔥🔥

There is an impressive sake selection and you can try 3 different styles of sake in their sake flight 💛🍶

With its dark interior punctuated with bold graphics & neon signs on the wall and an awesome playlist, the vibe at Tokyo Doll is super fun and buzzy – the kind of place where you want to settle into a stool at the impressive bar for hours drinking epic cocktails and working your way through the menu 🙌♥️

I’m already planning my next visit and dreaming about sushi tacos and a Tokyo Martini…cheers to that! 🍣🍸
