Road Trips Matter – #RoadTripsMatter

As well as celebrating their birthday with regional communities who have been part of the 100 year journey with their Bright Futures tour which kicks off on the 29th at North Byron Parklands. The NRMA want to help bring issues to light, and give regional Australia a voice and a platform to the positive change it needs.

Just as NRMA championed the value of road trips back in 1920, 100 years later this founding mission assumes new importance. Now more than ever, it’s important for Australians to get on the road to support regional communities that have been doing it tough.

So make your holiday one that matters. Plan a road trip, pack the car and share your story using the #RoadTripsMatter hashtag on social media and inspire others to do the same!

They’re also currently running a competition to encourage people to share their favourite spots to provide inspiration for more people to get on the road and spend some money in towns that need help.

Given the family friendly, fun, free event is fast approaching for the weekend of the 29th and we’re hopefully going to see many people come to the area, it would be great to see some entries sharing all the beauty and delights the Northern Rivers have to offer. To kick things off, here are a few good ones NRMA Members have shared from our own backyard.
