*Event canceled* Protect Paradise at Bryon Bay’s beach clean-up

Announced 13 March

Out of caution and concern for the safety of our community, Corona x Parley have made the decision to cancel the remaining Volunteers for the Ocean beach clean-ups. We understand this may be disappointing to some and will provide more information as it comes available. Please follow @CoronaExtraAustralia on Facebook for updates.

Corona and Parley are on a mission to protect Australian beaches and waterways from the growing marine plastic epidemic. This summer, they have pledged their commitment to clean 1 million square metres of Australian coastline. Through their Volunteers for the Ocean initiative, they are holding 20 beach clean-ups across Australia.

On Friday 27th March, a Volunteers for the Ocean clean-up will take place in Byron Bay. We’d love for you to share this news and the clean-up details with your readers, even through a ‘What’s On’ listing.

These experiences will be led by the passionate team at Parley, who will guide the clean-up efforts while providing a deeper understanding of ocean conservation and how to become more plastic conscious through the implementation of their AIR strategy: Avoid, Intercept, Redesign.

Details of the clean-up are below:

When – Friday 27th March, 2pm-5pm
Where – Main Beach, Byron Bay
