The historic township of Newrybar on the NSW North Coast, today celebrates the unveiling of Newrybar Merchants, a collaboration of local artisans and curators of fine goods.
Nestled in the lush rolling hinterland of Byron Bay Shire, 15 minutes drive from the beaches of Byron Bay, this collaborative retail space sees the coming together of some of Australia’s most well-known masters of style.
Internationally renowned interior stylist, product designer and presenter of the ABC TV series Restoration Australia, Sibella Court will be bringing The Society Inc and her hugely covetable collection of curiosities to Newrybar; respected interior stylist/ designer/ decorator, author and TV presenter, Shannon Fricke will showcase her Heart & Home bedlinen and homewares range; artist and designer behind the iconic Byron Bay store Ahoy Trader, Jai Vasicek will be partnering with local ceramicists Patterson + Steele to create one off bespoke pieces as well as showcasing work from local & international artisans; Byron’s longest established floral design studio, Beautiflora, will be providing their gorgeous floral arrangements; South African born abstract artist Diana Miller will showcase her contemporary artworks as well as range of cushions and fabrics; Fate & Fortune will bring their curated collection of paperware, journals, pens, ribbons and gifts from both local and International artisans; Miller Trading Group will be stocking a group of carefully handpicked design partners including Wolf & Maiden, one of Cape Town’s foremost local luxury accessory & lifestyle brands; while Tigmi Trading whose carefully sourced, beautiful & rare Berber rugs and artifacts from Morocco and around the globe will showcase their one of a kind treasures.
Renowned eatery, Harvest Café will be providing customers with an opportunity for a quick coffee break between lingering through the charming 1890’s dwelling that houses the Newrybar Merchants.
