You can check out the Which Way Festival here – https://www.facebook.com/events/297563933753130/ . Two whole days and nights of showcasing the very best of metal and hardcore bands from across NSW and SE Qld!!! Both of these HUGE shows will take place in the YAC Amphitheatre.

This will be a MASSIVE DOUBLE FESTIVAL WEEKEND happening at the YAC on the weekend of Nov 29 & 30, to coincide with the Metal United Down Under events, happening all across Australia, bringing together the metal community, to unite and embrace the music that is part of their lives. On Saturday Nov 29 we will host the Metal United Down Unda – Byron Bay festival, then on Sunday 30th, the Which Way Festival.

As part of this special weekend, we will also hold a ‘Metal & Hardcore Band Merch & Collectables Swap Meet & market. We will encourage the bands playing to also bring their own band merchandise, t-shirts and clothing, CDs etc. Applications for stall holders will be available soon… stay tuned.

As part of the Which Way Festival, we will have workshops in the lead-in, including ‘event management’, ‘stage management’ & ‘sound production’ and will be creating a volunteer ‘festival crew’ to assist with planning and production and the actual event itself.

BOTH the Metal United Down Under – Byron Bay event and the Which Way Festival will be drug & alcohol-free events. These two youth music festivals will be held at the Byron Youth Activities Centre. Through a small entry fee ($10-$15), donations and raffle ticket-sales, it will raise much-needed funds for the YACROCKCAFE youth music program at the YAC on Friday nights, with all money raised being donated straight to BUDDI & Byron Youth Service, which is a not-for-profit oganisation. These festivals will feature young bands and musicians from the Byron Shire and across the Northern Rivers Region.

My Friend The Betrayer, Siv, Seabound (OFFICIAL), Fatem, Level H, Valhalla Mist, The Black Swamp, Evil Eye, Nescient, FLY AGARIC & Jamhog are the first bands to be announced for the Metal United Down Under – Byron Bay event…
