In Situ brings together five artists – Kaleb Clements, Mark Dober, Emily Imeson, Sarra Robertson, and Nicola Taylor – who explore the landscape through a direct engagement with place. Each artist works in situ, drawing inspiration from the Northern Rivers and beyond to create vibrant, thoughtful works rooted in personal experience.
From expressive mark-making to immersive painting techniques, these artists offer unique interpretations of the land, weaving together themes of presence, memory, environmental care, and embodiment. In Situ invites viewers into a rich and layered conversation between artist and landscape – one that moves beyond observation to deep connection.
