Jonson Lane has been announced as the 2023 Winner of the Best Boutique Development at the NSW Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) Award and the won the Commendation Award for Best Retail Development in NSW.
It is an incredible achievement for the team and everyone that worked so hard to deliver a truly amazing building with special mention to Architect Jade Myers, Hutchinson Builders Murray Emmerson, Luke Jones LARC Landscape Architect.
The judges noted “The architectural brilliance of Jonson Lane’s multi-use design sets a remarkable standard of excellence that deserves high praise in its visionary planning, innovation, and a deep understanding of community needs for a cohesive and inviting environment combining residential, retail, and recreational spaces.
“The incorporation of green spaces, communal areas and pedestrian-friendly pathways demonstrates a thoughtful approach to modern living, prioritising comfort, sustainability, and aesthetics”.
The residents, tenants and community really are thrilled with the final building and the landscaping will continue to integrate the builtform into the Byron Bay streetscape over years to come.
