Jack, (Wake In Fright, Breaker Morant, Merry Xmas Mr Lawrence, The Sum of Us, High Ground) is one of Australian cinema’s brightest stars and has for decades been a source of encouragement and inspiration to filmmakers, actors and everyone associated with film.
For many years he has been a staunch supporter and ambassador of the Byron Bay International Film Festival – and much more: a guide, a godfather, a guru – a voice of wisdom and experience for our Festival and the whole industry.
This special event will be held on Saturday October 22nd at Ember, one of Byron’s best restaurants offering exceptional meal choices with drinks flowing courtesy of Zilzie Wines and Stone & Wood beer.
The conversation will be driven by Executive Producer and Madman CEO, Paul Wiegard, who will uncover some of the people, films and experiences which have inspired Jack across his career.
