Indoor Rock Climbing Wall Opens This Friday

In a bid to create a fun and active space for the whole family, Circus Arts has added another adventure activity to its venue with an Indoor Climbing Wall opening to the public on Friday 17 January, 2014. The wall is 7 meters in height and boasts over 20 climbs of varying degrees of difficulty including a standalone crack climb and conditioning training ladder. Climbing routes are set for adults and experienced climbers as well as some easier options for beginners. Participants must be a minimum of 5 years old to climb and 12 years old to belay- the perfect activity to enjoy as a family.

“Whilst we offer fantastic classes and adventure experiences through our circus and flying trapeze programs, we wanted to add an activity that allows our customers greater spontaneity. With no need to book, the indoor climbing wall lets our customers drop in and get active at any time that suits them”, said Owner Belinda Hultgren.

Circus Arts Byron Bay’s unique indoor venue certainly does promote healthy activities for the whole family, with a plethora of options available all year round including Circus classes, Flying Trapeze, Capoeira, Play Space, Yoga, Pole Fitness and now Indoor Climbing. The Big Top Café offers yum cha, snacks and organic coffee and is open 7 days a week.

The school holiday program offers Circus, Flying Trapeze and Climbing and is currently running until Feb 1.
