Gyuto Monks Visit Crystal Castle August 29

Join us on Saturday 29 August, together with our dear friends the Gyuto Monks, in celebrating the 3rd birthday of the Kalachakra World Peace Stupa at the Crystal Castle & Shambhala Gardens. Entry to the Crystal Castle will be free all day.

The celebrations on Saturday 29 August will include:
10.30 – 11.00 Morning Meditation
11.15 – 12.00 Culture for Kids
12.00 – 1.00 Meditation ‘Big Picture’ Sessions
2.00 – 2.30 Blessing Ceremony for the CC Prayer Wheel Garlands
2.30 – 4.30 White Tara Long Life Empowerment

During the ceremony the monks will chant for an hour followed by a guided visualization and initiation after which the monks will offer blessing cords/bracelets to everyone and people may make offerings to the monks.

The Gyuto monks of Tibet will be at the Crystal Castle during the week prior, from 23 – 29 August giving daily talks on Compassion Leadership, meditation sessions, chanting and they will construct a prayer wheel house and Tara sand mandala. There will also be cultural activities for children from 11:15 – noon every day. (Crystal Castle entry fee applies except for Saturday 29 August)
