Dog Trumpet has been the musical vehicle for the brothers with different surnames Peter O’Doherty and Reg Mombassa since the 1991 release on Regular Records of their first album ‘Two Heads One Brain’.
‘River Of Flowers’ is Dog Trumpet’s new album, the result of three years writing and recording by the brothers Reg Mombassa and Peter O’Doherty at their Big Brain Studio in Sydney. This is their fifth release and contains some of their most personal and autobiographical songwriting to date.
Reg Mombassa is also on the program of the Byron Bay Writers Festival this weekend.
