Matty B (Headliner)
Newcastle bred comedian Matty B is rising up the ranks of Australian comedy as he forges a reputation as joke writer and unique performer.
In between releasing an album, performing at The Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival and The Adelaide Fringe Festival he is fast becoming a staple on the the national club circuit, headlining and hosting across the country.
His shows have received critical acclaim and have been described as ‘uniquely esoteric’ and ‘brilliant alternative art expertly performed.
Kate Payne (MC)
Kate Payne is a stand up comedian living and laughing out of the northern rivers. Kate grew up in the United States and cut her teeth in comedy in New York City where she performed stand up with the likes of cult icon Janeane Garofalo, MTV’s Theo Von, and The Tonight Show’s Jessica Kirson among others. Kate has a background in improvisational comedy studying for four years at the Upright Citizens Brigade after earning a prestigious scholarship to study and perform. Today Kate enjoys herself by performing all over Queensland and NSW, and has her own breakfast morning show on Bay FM 99.9, Monday Funday.
