Elements of Byron: Mother of all Brunches
Graze Restaurant at Elements of Byron is gearing up for the Mother of all Brunches on Mothers’ Day Sunday 8th May. Guests will be entertained with live jazz from The Zoe Everest Trio followed by soulful jazzy grooves from The Miss Renee Simone Band.
Born of Jamaican heritage in the UK, Renee’s music career has seen her travel the globe and record with the likes of Xavier Rudd, Bernard Fanning and Angus Stone. Eric Bibb described her as “reminiscent of an early Sade”. Locals would recognise Miss Renee from the band Blackbirds, the island soul band who were semi-finalists on Australia’s Got Talent.
“ROAR”, Miss Renee Simone’s recent album, is a call to arms for women to grant themselves permission to be everything they want to be. The first single from the album, “You Are Beautiful,” is a tribute to mothers and speaks of the work they do to raise the vibration of the planet one well-loved child at a time. Renee says “Having a child put a fire in my belly, it gave me a sense of priority and conviction like nothing else ever had. My time and energy became so precious that my life has become sculpted exactly the way it needs to be in order for me to be my most radiant self and to be a vibrant and present mother. This is the energy I will be sharing and celebrating with other mothers on this Mother of all Sundays.”
“There’s no set menu at the Mothers’ Day soirée, guests can order as they like” said Elements of Byron’s Executive Chef Justin Dingle-Garciyya. “This event is a celebration of motherhood and we are honoured to be cooking for these very special guests.
“A lot of the food that I feel comfortable cooking originated in my mothers’ and grandmothers’ kitchens. That was where I got the first inclination that this industry was where I wanted to be. For me it all leads back to those kitchens.
“Whether your mum is here, whether she’s interstate or overseas or has passed on, Mothers’ Day is a good day to get together with close friends and family and raise a glass to salute your mother”.
All mothers at the brunch will receive a complimentary glass of Chandon sparkling rosé and treats from Elements of Byron’s Osprey Spa.
During the month of May Osprey Spa is offering three different one hour massage treatments at the special price of $119, valid Monday – Thursday when you mention “May offer”.
11am – 3pm Sunday 8th May. Bookings essential on 6639 1550.
