Byron Writers Festival Sunday Locals’ Passes on sale Thursday 30 June.

Byron Writers Festival is thrilled to once again be offering Sunday Locals’ Passes to the local community, supported for the third time by partners Stone & Wood. The discounted ticket is for entry to the festival on Sunday 28 August and is priced at $90, a saving of $45 on the full ticket price. The offer is exclusively available to residents of the Byron, Ballina, Kyogle, Lismore, Richmond Valley and Tweed council areas.

“The return of the Byron Writers Festival is such an exciting signpost to our local community that our cultural scene is back. We feel it’s important that as many local people get to come together and experience this outstanding event as possible,” said Katie Benson from Stone & Wood. “We hope that these Sunday Locals’ passes bring both existing and new audiences to the event for a day of community and conversation.”

Sunday Locals’ Passes will be available for purchase from 9am Thursday 30 June. Tickets can be purchased online at byronwritersfestival.com/festival, over the phone or in person at Byron Writers Festival’s office. This is a limited release offer and will be available until sold out, so get in quick! Purchasers will need to present proof of address at entry to the festival and are limited to a maximum of two tickets per person.

Byron Writers Festival has made its first announcement of authors including international bestseller Trent Dalton, award-winning contemporary artist Ben Quilty, one of Australia’s most popular broadcasters, author Indira Naidoo, 2022 Stella Prize winning poet Evelyn Araluen, acclaimed Northern Rivers author Jessie Cole and award winning author and historian Yves Rees. This first announcement of celebrated guests gives a taste of things to come with the full program of more than 140 writers, thinkers and commentators to be revealed on 13 July.
