We are thrilled to share a taste of what’s in store for Byron Writers Festival 2021. Join us this 6-8 August for a three-day festival of ideas, conversation and storytelling in one of the world’s most beautiful coastal locations.

Award-winning journalist and Phosphorescence author Dr Julia Baird, former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and activist, historian and acclaimed author Tony Birch are some of the leading lights headed to Byron Bay to provoke and inspire audiences. Also joining the line-up are best-selling writer, essayist and lawyer Alice Pung, Goorie/Koori poet and co-editor of Overland Literary Journal Evelyn Araluen and Northern Rivers author Hayley Katzen, whose brilliant memoir Untethered has made waves in the local literary scene.

Discover more about these guests and their books on our Festival homepage.
