Preparation has commenced for this years Lighthouse run on 31 October 2010. Last year nearly $8000 was donated to the NSW Cancer Council and organisers have high hopes of a bigger event this year with registrations already flooding in.
Entrants have an option for either an 8k walk or a 10 k run. The run is timed and this year several running groups from NSW and QLD are training for the run.
Local businesses are donating prizes which will be allocated out of a lucky draw at the end of the run. Major prizes include accommodation packages in Byron Bay.
- Early bird entry of $30 closes at cob on 30 September
- Entry from 1 October to cob 29 October s is $40
- Entry from 30 October onwards is $70
- Entry for under 17 year olds is $15
