Backwater Brethren Club Mullum Friday 26 October 7:30pm

The Backwater Brethren are a Northern Rivers Country Rock Supergroup, they take after their mentors The Highway Men (Cash, Jennings, Nelson and Kristofferson), a bunch of notorious outlaws with a love for a hoedown.
The band blew the heads of the unsuspecting audience in the Bangalow A & I Hall when they supported and backed John Carter & Ana Cristina Cash. (Yep Johnny Cash’s son).
The seven piece lineup includes main man – Ash (Buckshot) Bell on acoustic guitar strummin’, Phil (Longhorn) Levy on lead guitar pickin’, Steve (Forrest Ranger) Gilbert on Harmonica blowin’, JB Fingers (Justin Bannister) on keys, Diego (Diablo) Zaragoza on steel guitar, Rod (Rattlesnake) Coe on solid swinging country’ bass and Stu (Hot Sauce) Eadie on rockin’ country drums.
No-one gets out alive without first tapping all ten toes and howling arm in arm with your closest compadres. Joining them are special guests Kim Cheshire and Clelia Adams
