Rohan Robinson’s ‘Littoralism’ at Lone Goat Gallery

Lone Goat Gallery invites you to the opening of Rohan Robinson’s exhibition ‘Littoralism’ Friday September 16th at 6pm.

The Lone Goat Gallery is pleased to introduce artist Rohan Robinson and his paintings to the Byron Shire. A newcomer to Northern NSW from Victoria, Rohan Robinson has exhibited extensively, been an Art Coordinator at a remote Aboriginal Community and completed Artist Residencies.

From the foul rag and bone shop of the heart to the range of the littoral immigrant Robinson paints of how a place feels as much as how it looks. His latest works are large gestural land and sea scapes with sweeping bold colour painted on aluminium and linen. These expressive works are approached from the perspective of an explorer of both of the physical and psychological space, inviting the viewer along for the ride.

September 16 – October 5th, 2016
Open from 10 – 4pm daily
