Second Hand Saturday is a north coast community event involving the FREE on-line and print listing of garage sales being held across the region. People can hold their own garage sale at home, or coordinate a joint garage sale in their street, or with their local school, preschool, community organisation or Church.
You can also get involved by shopping at all the garage sales across the region – and from previous years’ experience there will be hundreds to choose from!
Second Hand Saturday – the biggest garage sale day on the north coast Saturday 24 September*. This year, all 7 Councils in the Northern Rivers Region will participate so registrations are now open to all residents from:
- Ballina Shire,
- Byron Shire,
- Clarence Valley,
- Kyogle,
- Lismore City,
- Richmond Valley, and
- Tweed Shire Councils.
* a ‘leftovers’ Second Hand Saturday wil also be held on the 1st October.
