Conceived by Festival Director and Director Glenn Wright, and coordinated by Tom Whitaker, the Youth Mentorship has had a real impact on developing career pathways in the music industry.

The YMP is about de mystifying the pathways to performance careers and the music industry, developing relationships between established and emerging artists that have proven enriching and beneficial for both the mentors and the mentees. The YMP is a unique and exciting initiative that has brought many young artists into the spotlight and enabled them to move forward with more insight into the realities of being a performing artist.
