Each January surfers gather for the annual Byron Board Paddle, to have a fun filled day and cross our stunning bay for charity.
The Byron Board Paddle goes from Wategos Beach over to the Byron Bay Surf Life Saving Club on Main Beach. Since starting in 2009 there has been more than 1000 participants paddle across The Bay. Byron Bay SLSC host the water safety as well as a BBQ & refreshments at the Byron Bay Surf Club after the Paddle where everyone can catch up & share the great day.
Registrations on the day start at 8am-9am at the Byron Bay Surf Club & 8am – 10am at Wategos Beach – racing starts at 11am.
