Cape Byron Lighthouse is offering guided tours durring the July school holidays.
You’ll climb all 3 levels inside the lighthouse, and get a close look at the Fresnel lens (apparently a big deal when it was installed in 1901).
The lighthouse tours are available Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday, they take 40 minutes and costs $8 for adults - $6 for children, or $25 for a family. Bookings are recommended.
