Sunday 11 th August will see the official launch of the new Aureus beachfront community
at Skennars Head. As a part of the celebrations Intrapac Property, the developers of
Aureus, are bringing Australia’s most celebrated demographer and futurist Bernard Salt
AM to the region.
While many are still processing the range of insights from Bernard’s sold out “Future
Northern Rivers” June luncheon at Southern Cross University, he is returning for more.
And this time he has the greater Ballina region in his sights.
“The more I study the demography of the Northern Rivers, the more I visit the region,
the more I compare it to other lifestyle places across Australia, the more convinced I am
that it represents the leading edge of Australia’s lifestyle movement” said Bernard Salt.

The name “Aureus”, which means “golden”, was chosen to represent the magnificence of
the location and the uniqueness of the opportunity according to Intrapac’s Max Shifman.
“It’s an unbelievably stunning position” said Mr Shifman. “As the locals already know.
It’s one of the last, if not the last and only, remaining beachfront land releases on the
eastern seaboard”.
