Today, Google told me it’s the first day of winter in Australia (I had always thought it was 1 June).
Anyway, a few days ago my 8 year old and friend wanted to go down to the beach, I thought to play in the sand -- but they wanted to bring their body boards.
I let them, the water was warm and they had a blast.
So, I took a video clip of of people swiming in Byron Bay in winter. It’s not for everyone, but the water is warmer than you’d think.
